Patricia De la Pena offers a fresh alternative to the traditional “workout”. Her classes are a lively mix that improve balance, strength, flexibility, and breathing, through a holistic body and mind approach. With a light heart and open mind, Patricia focuses on moving into postures, good for your body, mind and lean muscles. She holds a deep passion for health and fitness. She firmly believes and research support that the mind and body work as one. Patricia also works in recreational therapy in a nursing home with a beautiful group of seniors. She helps improve their physical, mental and emotional well-being. The work she does with them helps to reduce depression, stress and anxiety; recover basic motor functioning and reasoning abilities; build confidence, and socialize effectively.
Patricia enjoys running, meditation, kickboxing, hiking, travel, yoga, art, a good matcha latte and loves planning the next adventure with her family and silly sweetheart. For her, fitness is here to be enjoyed! She is a true believer that fitness provides us with the ability to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle and ultimately improved quality of life. The options are endless, for her it is not a career path, rather a life journey!
